On January 26, 2002, Ms Faye Desiree's life was lost in a tragic accident that occurred on the Hawaiian island of Maui. Faye and some friends were attempting to drive across a river when a flash flood took the vehicle downstream and they lost control. You can read the newsflash about this tragic accident at the Honolulu Adviser and at the Santa Cruz Sentinel.
Faye will always be remembered as a very special and unique person because she was able to make us ALL feel more comfortable about ourselves and each other through her pursuit of a sacred emotional connection that she knew we were all capable of achieving. Faye was an attractive and very intelligent woman who strived to help others open their minds, bodies, and souls such that we could relate to each other on a much higher level.
Faye's energy was EXTREMELY contagious as was her zest for life. She was an easy person to talk to, was not judgmental, and most important of all she was a great and very dear friend, who will most definitely be missed.
Through her interactions with people on her message board, she was occasionally referred to as 'Mamma' because, in a sense, she was like a Mother to all of us.
She has touched more lives than she could have ever imagined through her informative and heartfelt posts and contributions on the various websites where she participated, not even counting those who were fortunate enough to meet her in person and experience her radiance first hand.
Through this website, "What Fantasies May Come", 'Mamma' Faye has been able to get ALL of us to think about issues that are very personal to us and even get us to speak openly about these issues, some trivial and some controversial. She had an amazing ability to discuss even the most controversial of topics in a very thought provoking manner while at the same time making the discussion fun and enjoyable for all. She was also known for throwing some wild parties to boot!
It has been very refreshing to see those who loved and cared about Faye step forward offering condolences and assistance to help Faye's closest friends and family deal with this tremendous loss. Many Thanks and Blessings go to those who have come forward.
'Mamma' Faye, you are loved, cherished, and honored by ALL of us and even though your time was ended abruptly, you will NOT be forgotten at all. You will remain with us in spirit and your energy will last for eternity. You are sorely missed, 'Mamma' Faye, but you are also greatly loved.
